Panthic Parties Must Reach Mutual Consensus on Seat-Sharing

Amritsar (August 11, 2026): With the Punjab Legislative Assembly elections approaching, all Panthic organization’s intending to contest the elections must demonstrate unity, political maturity, wisdom and foresight so that a Panthic government can emerge in Punjab.
All Panthic parties and organisations should reach a mutual understanding and divide the 117 Assembly constituencies among themselves through consensus. Panthic parties must avoid fielding candidates against one another. Doing so would not only create disappointment among the Sikh Sangat but would also divide the Panthic vote and could ultimately result in a serious electoral defeat.
Whether the Panthic parties win or lose now depends largely upon the decisions taken by their leadership. If they stand together, coordinate their strategy and contest the elections collectively, no political force will be able to easily prevent them from becoming a major force in Punjab. However, if they continue pulling one another down, making allegations against each other and fielding rival candidates in the same constituencies, ordinary voters will lose confidence in them and the core Panthic vote will be divided into several sections.
Such a situation could produce one of the worst electoral performances for Panthic politics. On the other hand, if all concerned organisations decide to unite for the brighter future of the Panth and Punjab, Panthic politics can once again become a dominant force and the historic electoral success witnessed in 1989 could be repeated.
In 1992, Beant Singh became Chief Minister of Punjab during one of the most turbulent periods in the state’s history. His government was accused by Sikh organisations and human-rights groups of widespread repression and serious abuses during the counter-insurgency period. He was later assassinated in a bomb attack.
After the Congress government, many Punjabis looked towards the Shiromani Akali Dal in the hope that an Akali government would deliver justice. Parkash Singh Badal’s government came to power in 1997, but widespread disappointment with his administration later contributed to the return of Captain Amarinder Singh and the Congress in 2002.
Captain Amarinder Singh also failed to meet the expectations of many Punjabis, and the Badal-led government returned in 2007 and was re-elected in 2012. However, the incidents of sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in 2015, the failure to deliver justice, the police firing on Sikhs protesting for justice, and the controversy surrounding the pardon granted to the Dera Sirsa chief caused deep anger among the Sikh community.
As public resentment grew, the Badal government was removed from power and Captain Amarinder Singh again came to office after promising justice in the sacrilege cases and action against the drug crisis. However, he too failed to fulfil those expectations, and many Punjabis came to believe that both the Badal and Captain-led political establishments had failed them.
Eventually, the people of Punjab decided that neither the Badals nor Captain Amarinder Singh represented the change they wanted, and they turned towards a third political alternative. The Aam Aadmi Party came to power after, among other promises, claiming that justice in the sacrilege cases would be delivered swiftly. Punjab gave the party an extraordinary mandate by electing 92 MLAs.
However, the present government has also failed to live up to the expectations of many Punjabis. Just as voters were once determined to defeat the Badals and later Captain Amarinder Singh, there is now considerable public dissatisfaction with the government headed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
At the same time, the political party associated with Bhai Amritpal Singh, who is presently detained in Dibrugarh Jail, has become a major subject of discussion in Punjab and is receiving significant spontaneous public support. His father, Bapu Tarsem Singh, is providing leadership to this political initiative.
Other Panthic formations are also active in the political arena. These include the Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) led by Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann; Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit associated with former Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh; International Panthic Dal led by former Jathedar Bhai Jasbir Singh Rode; United Akali Dal associated with Bhai Gurdeep Singh Bathinda and Bhai Mohkam Singh; Misal Satluj led by Bhai Ajaipal Singh Brar; and the newly formed Azad Group associated with Bhai Mandeep Singh, brother of Bhai Sandeep Singh Sunny, along with several other Panthic organisations.
Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann and Bhai Jasbir Singh Rode have repeatedly called for Panthic unity. Their calls should be taken seriously.
At this stage, a practical seat-sharing formula should be adopted. Out of Punjab’s 117 Assembly constituencies, Akali Dal Waris Punjab De may contest around 65 seats, while the remaining constituencies should be left, through mutual agreement, for Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann, Giani Harpreet Singh, Bhai Jasbir Singh Rode and other Panthic organisations.
Those remaining seats can then be distributed among the participating Panthic groups according to their organisational strength and public influence in particular areas. Each party should seek seats only in constituencies where it has a genuine organisational base and a realistic possibility of winning. Such an arrangement can considerably strengthen the prospects of Panthic candidates.
It is unfortunate that while Panthic organisations are still struggling to achieve unity, there are indications that Sukhbir Singh Badal and the Bharatiya Janata Party may once again move closer politically. If Panthic organisations fail to recognise the importance of the present opportunity, Panthic politics could once again be pushed to the margins.
If that happens, the Panth and Punjab should not be blamed. The leadership of the Panthic parties will itself bear responsibility for the consequences of disunity.
There is little doubt that Bhai Amritpal Singh’s name and political influence have considerable appeal among a section of Sikh youth in Punjab, and this factor could translate into substantial electoral support for Akali Dal Waris Punjab De.
The family of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale has made immense sacrifices for the Panth. Therefore, Bapu Tarsem Singh and the leadership of Akali Dal Waris Punjab De should take along Bhai Jasbir Singh Rode, nephew of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale; Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann, who has remained associated with Panthic politics and Sikh issues for decades; and Giani Harpreet Singh, who played a prominent role in the withdrawal of the Fakh-e-Qaum honour previously bestowed upon Parkash Singh Badal.
All Panthic parties must adopt a formula of unity and accommodation. Unity is in the interest of every Panthic organisation and, above all, in the larger interests of the Panth and Punjab.
Otherwise, Punjab will once again be left with the same established alternatives—the Congress, the Badal-led Akali Dal, the BJP or the Bhagwant Mann-led Aam Aadmi Party government.
The decision is now in the hands of the Panthic leadership: do they want to unite and win, or remain divided and lose?

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ (11 ਅਗਸਤ 2026): ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲੜਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸਮੁੱਚੀਆਂ ਪੰਥਕ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਏਕਤਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਬੜੀ ਸਮਝਦਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਥਕ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਬਣ ਸਕੇ। ਸਮੂਹ ਪੰਥਕ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਸੀ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ 117 ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਟਿਕਟਾਂ ਵੰਡ ਲੈਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਪੰਥਕ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੰਥਕ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ਾ ਵੀ ਆਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਵੀ ਵੰਡੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਕਰਾਰੀ ਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਵੇਖਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ। ਚੋਣਾਂ ਜਿੱਤਣੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਹਾਰਨੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਪੰਥਕ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਰਲ ਕੇ ਚੱਲੋਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸੱਤਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੋਕ ਸਕਦਾ ਪਰ ਜੇਕਰ ਇੱਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੱਤਾਂ ਖਿੱਚੀਆਂ, ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮਬਾਜੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ, ਆਪੋ-ਆਪਣੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਤਾਂ ਆਮ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵੱਲ ਮੂੰਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਤੇ ਨਿਰੋਲ ਪੰਥਕ ਵੋਟ ਵੀ ਕਈ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਫਿਰ ਤਾਂ ਪੰਥਕ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਹਾਰਨ ਦਾ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਗੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਪੰਥ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸੁਨਹਿਰੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਲਈ ਇੱਕਮੁੱਠ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਪੰਥਕ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਦਾ ਬੋਲਬਾਲਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਤੇ ਸੰਨ 1989 ਵਾਲਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਾਮੱਤਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦੁਹਰਾਇਆ ਜਾਏਗਾ।
ਸੰਨ 1992 ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁੱਚੜ ਬਿਅੰਤ ਸਿਹੁੰ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੜਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਜੁਝਾਰੂ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਬ ਨਾਲ ਉਡਾਅ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਫਿਰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਾਤਮੇ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਾਸੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਹਲੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਉਮੀਦ ਨਜ਼ਰੀਂ ਆਏਗੀ। 1997 ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤਾਂ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪੰਥ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਗ਼ੱਦਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਕ ਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਰਕਾਰ 2002 ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਆਂਦੀ। ਕੈਪਟਨ ਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਨਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦਾ ਭਗਤ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ 2007 ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਰ ਬਾਦਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਬਣਾਈ ਕੀ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਹੁਣ ਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਤੇ 2012 ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਰ ਇਸੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤਾਇਆ ਪਰ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਸੰਨ 2015 ਵਿੱਚ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੇ ਡੇਰਾ ਸਿਰਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕਲੰਕ ਲਵਾ ਲਿਆ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਐਨਾ ਰੋਹ ਤੇ ਰੋਸ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ ਬਾਦਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੱਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਹ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਤੇ ਬੇਅਦਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਾਤਮੇ ਲਈ ਮੁੜ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਗ਼ੱਦਾਰ ਬਾਦਲਕਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਯਾਰੀ ਨਿਭਾਈ।
ਫਿਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਬਾਦਲ-ਕੈਪਟਨ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰ ਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਤੀਸਰੀ ਧਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਲਿਆਉਣਾ ਹੈ। ਤੇ ’24 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਦਾ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦੇਵਾਂਗੇ’ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਤੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ 92 ਵਿਧਾਇਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਪਰ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਬਾਦਲ-ਕੈਪਟਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਨਖਿੱਧ ਨਿਕਲੇ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬਾਦਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਫਿਰ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਲੋਕ ਉਤਾਵਲੇ ਸਨ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਬਕ ਸਿਖਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਾਸੀ ਕਮਰਕੱਸੇ ਕਰੀ ਬੈਠੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਡਿਬਰੂਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਜ਼ਰਬੰਦ ਭਾਈ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਆਪ ਮੁਹਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਮਿਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਈ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਬਾਪੂ ਤਰਸੇਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸਿਮਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ, ਸਾਬਕਾ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਪੁਨਰ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ, ਸਾਬਕਾ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਭਾਈ ਜਸਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੋਡੇ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਪੰਥਕ ਦਲ, ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈ ਮੋਹਕਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਯੂਨਾਈਟਿਡ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ, ਭਾਈ ਅਜੇਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਰਾੜ ਦੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਮਿਸਲ ਸਤਲੁਜ, ਕੌਮੀ ਯੋਧੇ ਭਾਈ ਸੰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਨੀ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਭਾਈ ਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਰ ਪੰਥਕ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਵੀ ਚੋਣ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਹਨ। ਸ. ਸਿਮਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈ ਜਸਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੋਡੇ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਏਕਤਾ ਦਾ ਹੋਕਾ ਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ 117 ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 65 ਸੀਟਾਂ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਾਲੇ ਰੱਖ ਲੈਣ ਤੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਸਿਮਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ, ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਭਾਈ ਜਸਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੋਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪੰਥਕ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਣ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡ ਲੈਣਗੇ ਜਿਸ-ਜਿਸ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਸ-ਜਿਸ ਪੰਥਕ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦਾ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਓਥੋਂ ਹੀ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਲੈਣ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੰਥਕ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਤ੍ਰਾਸਦੀ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪੰਥਕ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਇਕੱਠੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਪਰ ਪੰਥ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਆਸਾਰ ਬਣ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਜੇ ਪੰਥਕ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਹੁਣ ਵੀ ਮੌਕਾ ਨਾ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਪੰਥਕ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਹਾਸ਼ੀਏ ਉਤੇ ਧੱਕੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਫਿਰ ਪੰਥ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਹਣਾ ਨਾ ਮਾਰਿਓ ਸਗੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਹਾਰ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਪੱਕੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਾਈ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਜਵਾਨੀ ਦੀ ਵੋਟ ਵੱਡੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੁਗਤੇਗੀ। ਸੰਤ ਜਰਨੈਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਭਿੰਡਰਾਂਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਤੀਜੇ ਭਾਈ ਜਸਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੋਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਅਗਾਂਹ ਤੋਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ. ਸਿਮਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਦਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਫਖ਼ਰ-ਏ-ਕੌਮ ਦਾ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਖੋਹਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਬਾਪੂ ਤਰਸੇਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਚੱਲਣ। ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪੰਥਕ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਏਕਤਾ ਦੇ ਫਾਰਮੂਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਣਾਉਣ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪੰਥਕ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਥ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਭਲਾ ਹੈ। ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ, ਬਾਦਲ, ਭਾਜਪਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੁੜ ਰਾਜ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਹੁਣ ਪੰਥਕ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਹੀ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕਰ ਲੈਣ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਿੱਤਣਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਹਾਰਨਾ ਹੈ!
